These terms apply when you use Thirdesk ("the service"), operated by Thirdesk. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
The service
Thirdesk lets you define time windows ("slots") when you want to work away from home. When a slot starts, we pick one café you can walk to, tell you when to leave, and tell you when to be back. The venue is not shown before the slot begins. The app is for iPhone in v1.
Subscription and trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial from sign-up. After the trial, continued desk reveals require an active subscription (~£7/month or ~£49/year, billed through Apple). You can manage or cancel in your Apple subscription settings. Slots remain editable while lapsed; desks are not revealed without an active subscription.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with our systems. Do not share your account credentials.
No guarantee of availability
We choose from cafés that appear open and within your max walk according to Google data. We do not guarantee a seat, Wi‑Fi, power, or that any particular venue will be available. If no suitable café exists for a slot, you will be notified and no desk will be assigned for that occurrence.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thirdesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for travel, venue conditions, or missed appointments. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
